In O Level-IGCSE Dynamics, we will define a force conceptually and understand how can one identifying the various types of forces that acts on a system. The vector nature of a force leads us to talk about the resultants of a force where we see how and what it means for a resultant force to be acting on a body. We will then discuss in depth the Newton’s laws of motion with examples ( we will talk about Newton’s 3rd law in depth as at first glance it seems counter intuitive). Finally we will talk about the most important topic in all of Physics which is the Free Body diagrams, this is where we emphasize the importance of understanding your system and defining a coordinate frame of reference to it which makes the problem solving part of Physics extremely easy!
